The experience of swimming with manatees means having a tender, big friend, so to learn more about their life and habitat.
Their movements are slow but they learn fast so you can have great moments swimming with them. You will also have the opportunity to kiss them, hug them and free time. This whole experience will take place within the Chankanaab Park, which offers the manatee a safe and control environment equal to their natural habitat.

Dolphin Discovery has obtained all their locations to become organisational members of IMATA, being the company that world-wide has the highest number of trainers like professional or associated members in this organisation. In several occasions, the formal works of investigation and presentations in the annual conferences of IMATA have been recognised with prestigious prizes.

The Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums is an international association representing marine life parks, aquariums, zoos, research facilities and professional organisations dedicated to the highest standards of care for marine mammals and to their conservation in the wild, through public education, scientific study, and wildlife presentations.
Only a small number of the Alliance members, including Dolphin Discovery, features unforgettable interactive programs offered by each facility (other parks only include shows), developing programs of special education and research that helps marine mammals in the wild, and have developed programs to rescue stranded animals and nurse them back to health.

The "H" Distinctive is a certification for the food and beverage establishments to fulfil the hygiene standards mentioned in the Mexican Norm NMX-F605 NORMEX 2004.
Granted and guaranteed on behalf of the Mexico Tourism Board and the Health Secretary, based on the recommendations of the World Health Organisation, the "H" Distinctive, more than a certificate, is a system that guarantees high quality in the food & beverages handling.

The program duration is 30 minutes, but your are welcome to the park from 08:00 am till the park closes at 4:00 pm.

The park opens from 8:00 am through 4:00 pm.
The Manatee encounters start at 9:00 am, and are scheduled every hour till 3:00 pm.
